REAL WEDDING | THUY & EDDY

wedding dressThe pretty pastels and spring theme to this wedding are making me want spring to be here NOW. I can’t decide which I like better, the bouquets or those beautiful (and creative) centerpieces. If you are thinking of a springtime wedding, your inspiration can start here.
We had a non-denominational wedding in a European garden in downtown Dallas – all of our closest friends and family joined us as we exchanged our vows. We hung floral pomanders, ribbons, and strings of butterflies from the trees.
We had a live band, open bar, and great food – we hired a lighting designer to pinspot the tables, highlight our wedding monogram on the dance floor, and my family and I did all of the floral arrangements.
We had wrought iron trees that were 4′ tall with nests that held tea lights and hung strings of butterflies and clusters of hydrangea and roses from the branches. Our theme was “springtime” (birds, flowers, butterflies, pastel colors, etc).
