A US woman is getting married days after her wedding gown was stolen.

Teoni Taylor, from South Dakota, was left devastated when her white ceremonial dress, her bridesmaids’ frocks and many other wedding-day essentials totalling over $2,000 were stolen from her car.

The bride-to-be was shocked after her car – which she had failed to lock – was stolen from outside her local grocery store while she popped in to buy food for supper.

Because of freezing temperatures, she had left the engine running while she popped in store.

However, Teoni is determined not to let this spoil her big day.

She has replaced the dresses, found a new “perfect” gown, and is due to wed her fiance Chris Aman as planned.
